Director’s Thanksgiving Message

Dear Waterloo Catholic Families,

Our recent weather has made many of us feel like we are in the midst of summer; yet, as we look at the trees nearby, we see the beginnings of vividly coloured foliage that reminds us that fall has arrived and with it, Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving offers us an opportunity to reflect on the many blessings we have in our lives and to express our gratitude for them. A chance to reflect on the firm academic and social foundation that has been laid for students over the past month, preparing them for the new learning opportunities that await.

We at the Waterloo Catholic District School Board are thankful for our students, staff, and the Waterloo Catholic community; you are at the heart of our work and your enthusiasm for learning, kindness, and faith inspire us every day.

As we prepare to give thanks let us keep in mind those in our community and around the world who may be suffering or in need. Please continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

May your Thanksgiving be a reflection of our faith; filled with love, gratitude, generosity, and kindness.

Sincerely,

Tyrone Dowling
Director of Education
